BI-LO launches all-natural ice cream line
US-based BI-LO has launched a line of premium-quality all-natural ice creams under Sweet Dreams brand. The line features 15 flavors that are gluten-free and contain zero trans fats.
According to the company, the new flavors are made with all-natural milk, cream and sugar, and contain no artificial flavors or preservatives. The new flavors come in 48-ounce cartons and retail for $4.99.
In addition, each serving of Sweet Dreams ice cream contains only 120 to 180 calories and 11g or less of fat, reported pgstorebrands.com.
BI-LO category manager of frozen food and main meals James Allen said that given that Americans consume more ice cream than anyone else in the world, BI-LO decided to make a mark in the category by developing its own delicious, high-quality product at a price everyone can afford.
"We have worked for several months to create the perfect Sweet Dreams blends and flavors that any ice cream aficionado will appreciate and love," Allen added.
