Brothers International launches alcohol infused ice cream range

FBR Staff Writer Published 07 December 2011

US-based Brothers International Desserts is launching alcohol-infused ice cream under the SnöBar brand. According to the company, it has developed gourmet frozen ice cream and ice-pops made with natural ingredients and premium alcohol, with a full cocktail in every serving.

The company is offering several varieties of alcohol-infused ice creams - Pink Squirrel, with brandy, amaretto, and crème de cacao; Grasshopper, with brandy and crème de menthe; and Brandy Alexander, with brandy and a mix of crème de menthe and crème de cacao.

The products will contain about 4% alcohol by volume, equivalent to the alcohol content present in a light beer, wmtw.com reported.

The new products will be sold in the freezer sections of wine and liquor retailers for about the price of a regular cocktail or a bottle of premium alcohol.
